Where are Base London shoes made?Updated 10 months ago

Base London shoes are predominantly made in mainland Europe and India. Factories are regularly audited to make sure they adhere with working conditions and other legal practices. Our regular factories and new factories are continually visited by Base London to ensure that the best practices are maintained.

What Leathers do you Use?

Base London use leathers as well as textiles to make their shoes. The majority of the leather used in the footwear is bovine (i.e cattle, cow or ox) and a few Base London linings are made of textile or pigskin. We try our best in our product descriptions to make it clear as to the material make up of each style, however if you are still unsure and would like further information about a particular product please contact us with the style name and pictures, if possible.
